The association was founded in 2002 and bears the name "Museumsverein Fiss".
The primary aim of this non-profit association is to preserve and revive the cultural heritage of Fiss.
It intends to achieve this by working closely together with the local authorities, the tourism association, the parish, the local associations and the entire population of Fiss.

- Restoration and revitalisation of the Fiss Museum
- Assistance with the Fiss chronicles
